Red Nose Day and Cake Competition

The Red Nose Day event this year had staff and students alike, drooling with delight at the sight of the Cake Competition entries. To raise money for the Charity, not only did the students dress in their brightest reds, but the staff also baked their most elaborate cakes for the grand Cake Competition. A host of glorious entries adorned the table in the Food Room and was judged by our very own Mary and Paul – Miss Batty and Dr Statner respectfully. The Winner of the competition was Mrs LePage.  The Cakes were then sold at lunchtime to raise yet more money for Comic Relief and the fantastic work they do at home and abroad. It certainly was great to have a bit of fun and do some good at the same time.
